Synopsis

Initiates engine updating.

Syntax

Start-FseSignatureUpdate [-Engine <SigUpdateEngineEnum[]>] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

Initiates engine and definition updating for one or more engines. The updating starts immediately, regardless of any schedule that has been set. You can update the antispam engine, as well as the antimalware engines.

Parameters

-Engine [<SigUpdateEngineEnum[]>]

Indicates the name of one or more engines whose updating is to be scheduled. Optional. If this parameter is omitted, the scheduling options affect all engines. Multiple engines are listed as an array.
